Department of Supervision on Animal and Plant Quarantine takes the responsibility of studying and formulating provisions and regulations of entry-exit animal and plant, studying and formulating list of animal and plant forbidden to entry, organizing the implementation of the inspection, quarantine and supervision on entry-exit animals and plants as well as animal and plant products, administering the inspection and quarantine of entry-exit genetically modified organisms and their products, collecting the information of animal and plant epidemic out of China and organizing the implementation of risk assessment and emergency precaution measures according to division of work, administering the registration and approval of entry-exit animal and plant inspection and quarantine according to the law. |
